What to know about the THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS
There are many prophetic messengers since 2020 that have been speaking about the three days of
darkness. No one knows exactly when it will happen, but it is important to understand what to expect, so
that you can prepare (as you would for any important earthly event) and also to understand that We, as
God’s children, are NOT to be afraid. Most importantly, stay in prayer and read the scriptures.
Biblical accounts show us that God is sovereign even in moments of darkness. This means that God has
ultimate authority and control, even when things seem out of hand. We can take comfort in knowing that
nothing happens without His knowledge or permission. The experience of three days of darkness serves
as a reminder that even when we don’t understand what is happening, God is at work behind the scenes.
We can trust Him to provide light in our dark times and release us into His wondrous plan when the
moment is right. This period of total darkness will bring many back to God in “fear and trembling.”
IS IT BIBLICAL?
Yes. There are many scriptures in the Bible that speak about a period of “gross darkness.” God is the
same yesterday, today and tomorrow. “For I, the Lord, do not change” – Malachi 3:6
Here are references from the Bible about God bringing /allowing darkness on the land:
“Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness spreads over
Egypt—darkness that can be felt.’ So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness
covered all Egypt for three days. No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. Yet all the
Israelites had light in the places where they lived.” – Exodus 10:21-23
“I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these
things.” – Isaiah 45:7
“He uncovers deep things out of darkness, And brings the shadow of death to light. They grope in
darkness with no light; he makes them stagger like drunkards.” – Job 12:22,25
“You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the
darkness, nor the plague that destroys at noonday.” – Psalm 91:5-6
He sent darkness and made the land dark— for had they not rebelled against his words?” – Psalm 105:28
“In that day they will roar over it like the roaring of the sea. And if one looks at the land, there is only
darkness and distress; even the sun will be darkened by clouds.” – Isaiah 5:30
“Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will
be thrust into utter darkness.” – Isaiah 8:22
“See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and
his glory appears over you.” – Isaiah 60:2
“All the shining lights in the heavens I will darken over you; I will bring darkness over your land, declares
the Sovereign Lord.” – Ezekiel 32:8
“The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful
day of the Lord.” – Joel 2:31
“At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.” – Mark 15:33
There are MORE>>> but you get the idea! When God was unhappy with man, he brought about darkness
as a way to wake people up. ARE YOU AWAKE YET?
WHAT TO EXPECT?
I have tried to compile a list of things that two or more messengers have stated, which makes them more
reliable. “In your Law it is written that the testimony of two people is true.” – John 8:17
• Before the three days of darkness there will be incredible rainbow skies seen all over the world 24-48
hours before. Since this time is not determined, get ready right away. Do not wait, thinking you have
time!
• It has been stated that the darkness will start at NOON, Jerusalem time. Calculate your time zone
accordingly. It will happen at the same time all over the world. (5 am DC, 4 am Chicago… etc.)
• Go to a place of safety as soon as you can when you see this.
• The darkness will be FELT>>>> evil and heavy.
• Prepare to have blankets, candles, food and water for three days ahead of time.
• Many will have NO electricity. Prepare accordingly. (God’s righteous ones will have power and heat)
• Close and lock ALL windows and doors.
• DO NOT open a door or window no matter WHO you think is outside! (NO HUMAN will be able to
travel outside…remember that when you believe a loved one or friend is outside)
• Cover all windows with curtains or makeshift coverings. (This is strictly to reduce fear of what you may
see outside. Fear is a tool of the evil ones.)
• Do NOT worry about your outside animals. Trust that they are in God’s hands. (God managed all the
animals on the Ark for over a year. He can manage yours for 3 days)
• Do NOT be concerned about your inside animals. DO NOT let them outside, even to go to the
bathroom. (to do so means you must open a door, which will be considered an invitation to let
“things” in!)
• God’s righteous will have supernatural protection and light. Some say the most righteous followers
will actual BE the light… as in emitting light from their bodies. PRAY, and stay in Faith! “Be strong and
courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you;
he will never leave you nor forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
Psalm 91
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely, He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand,
but it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.
For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”
